I seek after truth.

We live in a world that is searching, searching for answers to complex questions. Each of us, at times, is drawn toward trying to understand more about why things are the way they are and how we can make sense of the multitude of opinions that surround us. It seems as if each individual, organization, and government has differing opinions on practically every subject from religious freedom to social injustice.  Sometimes we forget that despite our different backgrounds and views, we are all looking for truth in one way or another. We all seek to understand things “as they really are, and as they were, and as they are to come.” I consider this one of humanity’s noblest characteristics.

My hope is to provide insights into some of the complex issues  that confront us, that we might make sense of them, interpret the roaring commotion of opinions, find answers, and come to some form of understanding.

Please feel free to comment and offer your insights and opinions.

Note: These issues tend to be highly politicized, especially within the United States. It’s my hope that In Defense of Common Sense will rise above simple political ideology and will seek for answers. Truth tends to lie on a deeper level than what we are accustomed to. Please keep your comments thoughtful and sincere.
